The Location in Chapel Hill, North Carolina
Getting married at The Carolina Inn is such a dream! This gorgeous wedding venue is in a prime location in downtown Chapel Hill, and it is truly one of my favorite wedding venues! The classical archivecture of the building is stately and timeless. Nevertheless, it is still a comfortable place to relax and enjoy yourself. It is incredibly beautiful, but not stuffy.
Here you can see the beautifully decorated columned doorway, and the bride waiting with her dad by the carriage port.
The Side Lawn Wedding Ceremony Location
Ohhhh the side lawn! This spot is just so gorgeous! I get happy every time I see this beautiful spot set up for a wedding ceremony. The side door and its columns make for the perfect frame to stand underneath. And that therefore, makes for perfect photographs. Additionally, there is an old carriage port just around the corner that makes for even more photography opportunities. It is also a great spot to wait before you walk down the aisle. Its just out of sight of guests, but very close walking distance.
