This couple chose to book 3 separate sessions of coverage that included their Wedding Day (with After Party), Rehearsal Dinner Coverage, and Engagement Session. I’ll share a brief snippet of their other sessions to set the tone for their incredible ceremony and reception day, which will be shared in detail below.
THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION:
This gorgeous couple chose to do an engagement session before their big day. Part of this was photographed at the Atlanta St. Regis where they held their wedding. And the other part was photographed around town in a beautiful Vintage Rolls Royce. Here’s a little peek into our session:
THE REHEARSAL DINNER:
Next time we got together, it was time to celebrate their wedding weekend! These two kicked off the festivities with a beautiful Ubuntu-themed Rehearsal Dinner at Biship Station in Atlanta. Ubuntu is a lovely word from W’s home country of Zimbabwe which translates to: ” I am because we are”. What a wonderful sentiment to honor. The evening was filled with tropical touches and soft candlelight.
THE WEDDING DAY:
C&W woke up to the most gorgeous day. Both got ready separately at the St. Regis Atlanta hotel. They opted not to do a first look in order to have the most impact during their ceremony. Having met in Vegas, there was a subtle “Lucky in Love” theme- as demonstrated on their poker chip escort table display.
Flowers line the aisle and the arbor. It looks like we’re ready to get these two married!
The newlyweds enjoy a few moments alone as guests partake in the elegant cocktail hour. A live cigar roller entertains guests and provides favors for guests to enjoy and take home
The reception space is breathtaking! Crystal candelabras line the tables, along with crystal glassware, lush florals, and a chic & rich palette of light and dark linens

The dancing at the reception was impressive, but these two weren’t done just yet. Guests were welcomed into a whole new space filled with espresso martinis, late bites with mini milkshakes, and chic nightclub vibes. And they kicked it off with an epic confetti cannon blowout! Love these wild party animals!

Atlanta St. Regis Wedding
Holy cow, ok where do I even begin? Maybe you already saw this couple’s beautiful engagement session at the Atlanta St. Regis with a Vintage Bentley and witnessed Caitlyn and Watida’s incredible style. These two don’t do things by halves and I am absolutely here for it! Exactly my kinds of people. Their wedding day was of course no exception. From their ceremony absolutely dripping in flowers. To their reception dazzling with crystal candelabras. To their confetti filled after party. This was the celebration of a lifetime. As you can see, their wedding planner Laura of Magnolia Celebrates absolutely killed it, as did their Designer, Alchemy Events.
Grand Terrace Ceremony at the Atlanta St. Regis
Caitlyn and Watida started their day getting ready at the gorgeous St. Regis hotel – a beautiful wedding venue. Prior to the wedding, they shared heartfelt notes with each other, which were followed up by personal vows during the ceremony. Luckily, the day of their wedding was blessed with sunshine and I am so happy they got to have their wedding ceremony on the St. Regis Grand Terrace outside. The entire aisle was lined on both sides thick with flowers, while a large arch of flowers framed them from the back.
Lucky in Love Meets Luxury
Caitlyn and Watida met in Vegas, so their reception had “Lucky in Love” programs and a seating chart of numbered poker chips. Walking into the reception at the St. Regis ballroom was absolutely incredible. The dance floor and bar were lined with rows of flowers. Crystal candelabras ran down the entire estate table. The linens used were in rich, sophisticated blues. Combined with the elegant lighting, the room had a dramatic and upscale ambiance.
An Epic After Party Kickoff With Confetti Canons
Everything about their ceremony and reception was absolutely gorgeous. How could it possibly get any better? Well, after a nice night of dinner and dancing, Magnolia Celebrates unveiled a whole separate section of the ballroom for the After Party. It was styled in the mood of a glam upscale bar and lounge. Once guests mingled their way over, DJ Krieger got the After Party started out on an epic note with a huge confetti canon blowout. Guests sipped espresso martinis and danced the night away in celebration with these two incredible people.
