This gorgeous wedding took place at the Umstead Hotel and Spa on a perfect summer day. Their floral filled outdoor ceremony was followed by a roaming cocktail hour and reception filled with delicious food stations and orchid topped tables. A full wedding band kept the party going until their confetti and rose petal send off.

In the heart of Cary, North Carolina, K & O’s summer wedding at The Umstead Hotel was a breathtaking affair that seamlessly blended modern elegance with timeless romance. This luxury oasis, nestled amidst lush woodlands and serene lakes, set the perfect stage for a day filled with joy, music, and floral splendor.

The Umstead Hotel, renowned for its sophisticated charm and tranquil setting, provided a stunning backdrop for K & O’s celebration. The hotel’s lush gardens and tranquil lake, coupled with its contemporary architecture, offered an idyllic environment where nature and luxury coalesced.
Guests were greeted with the gentle rustling of leaves and the soft murmur of water from the nearby lake, setting a serene and welcoming tone as they arrived. The anticipation was palpable as everyone gathered for what promised to be an unforgettable day.
A Ceremony Wrapped in Beauty
The ceremony took place in The Umstead’s outdoor garden, a picturesque location surrounded by towering trees and lush greenery. Against this natural canvas, a magnificent floral arch adorned with cascading white orchids, roses, and hydrangeas framed the couple as they exchanged their vows. The delicate petals of the orchids swayed gently in the summer breeze, adding a touch of ethereal beauty to the already stunning setting.
K, resplendent in a flowing ruffled white gown, walked down an aisle lined with white petals and accented with floral arrangements of white carnations. O, awaiting his bride in a classic tuxedo, wore a smile that spoke volumes about his love and anticipation. Their vows, spoken softly under the azure sky, resonated with sincerity and devotion. Bringing tears to the eyes of those gathered.
A Reception to Remember
Following the heartfelt ceremony, guests were invited to an elegant reception in The Umstead’s Grand Ballroom. The room was a vision of sophisticated grandeur. Decorated in a palette of white and soft gold, with lush floral arrangements that continued the theme of white orchids and roses.
The tables, draped in crisp white linens, were adorned with towering centerpieces of cascading orchids. Creating an ambiance of lush elegance. The flicker of candlelight added a warm and romantic glow. Enhancing the opulence of the setting. The attention to detail was evident in every element. From the elegant calligraphy on the place cards to the gold-accented tableware that reflected the couple’s refined taste.

As the band played a mix of classic love songs and upbeat dance numbers, K & O took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife.
