As a top-rated Richmond wedding photographer, I am honored to photograph in this city. There are so many wonderful venues here. I love all of them, but feel especially in awe of the many Estates. The Estate at River Run and the Virginia House are two that I have photographed at recently.
If you are looking for a photographer who will capture your day in a documentary / candid style, then perhaps you will enjoy my work. My favorite images are those where you are effortlessly beautiful. You know the ones where you’re not looking, but just looking gorgeous enjoying your life. I have a knack for finding the right angles and the right timing. And I also have a knack for making people feel comfortable in front of the camera, so that they feel great about opening up and showing their real selves to the camera.
In my decade of experience, I have photographed hundreds of weddings, and I have worked in all kinds of conditions. I have worked with celebrity wedding planners, faraway destinations, and venues in the absolute middle of nowhere. Even in a city such as Richmond, each wedding is an adventure. Each wedding invigorates me, and that’s why I love doing what I do so much.
As you can see, my style of photography is not only documentary / candid fine art, but also real and moody. A moody wedding photography style is simply a style which keeps the richness and shadows of a scene. It retains the detail and captures the depth of the visuals. I love to artistically play with natural light which you will see in my photographs.
