A handful of favorites above, now onto the rest of the experience.
This beautiful wedding spanned the course of two days, which took place at the gorgeous Virginian Hotel as well as the Virginia Episcopal School. Their rehearsal dinner was Day One. And then on Day Two, was their beautiful ceremony and reception.
THE REHEARSAL DINNER:
In following the story of their beautiful wedding weekend, lets begin on their rehearsal evening…
It was a rainy day in Lynchburg, Virginia but that didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits
THE WEDDING DAY:
On their wedding morning, the rain had mostly moved out, and these two were preparing for their gorgeous day of celebration
The cinderella moment above unfolded organically as M got dressed. The best moments always have a way of just happening on their own that way.

The cutest group of Littles I ever did see!
And they’re MARRIED!!!

As guests enjoy their cocktails in the Eleanor Rose Madison Room, we get a peek at the breathtaking reception decor in the Virginian’s Grand Ballroom. Those lush florals and tall candelabras add such classic romance to this beautiful space.
Rather than the traditional cake cutting, these two opted to “crack the creme”. Guests were each then served their own mini creme brûlée…genius!
As dinner courses are being served, we step away for a brief moment to capture some beautiful pictures in the soft afternoon light. A park up the street and the exterior of the Virginian make for the perfect backdrops.
Whether its grandma or babies on the dance floor- or grandmas AND babies- you can be I will be there waiting to capture it!
Thank you so much to M&A for asking me to photograph your incredible wedding weekend! What an honor it has been to get to know you both and spend this cherished time with you and your families XO Michelle

A Timeless Celebration: The Virginian Hotel Wedding for M and A in Lynchburg, Virginia
There’s something magical about witnessing a couple’s journey from the intimate moments of their rehearsal dinner to the grand celebration of their wedding day. M and A’s wedding was a perfect blend of classic elegance and personal touches, held at two iconic venues in Lynchburg, Virginia.
The Rehearsal Dinner: A Warm Welcome at The Virginian Hotel
The weekend began at The Virginian Hotel, an establishment that exudes historic charm and modern sophistication. M and A hosted their rehearsal dinner in one of the hotel’s beautifully appointed spaces. The evening was filled with laughter, heartfelt toasts, and a palpable sense of anticipation for the day ahead. The intimate gathering allowed close family and friends to connect, share stories, and celebrate the love that brought everyone together.
A Sacred Ceremony at the Virginia Episcopal Church
M and A chose the Virginia Episcopal Church for their wedding ceremony, a location known for its serene atmosphere and beautiful architecture. The church, with its timeless architecture and stained glass windows, provided the perfect backdrop for their vows. As sunlight streamed through the windows, highlighting the couple’s expressions of love and commitment, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
The ceremony was a moving blend of tradition and personal moments. From the gentle notes of the organ to the reverent exchange of vows, every detail was a testament to M and A’s deep connection and the sacredness of their union.
Lavish Reception at The Virginian Hotel
After the ceremony, guests returned to The Virginian Hotel for a reception that was nothing short of spectacular. The space was transformed into a scene of opulence and romance, with candelabras casting a warm, golden glow over the tables. Lush floral arrangements in soft, romantic hues added to the ambiance, creating a setting that was both intimate and grand.
M and A’s choice to forgo a traditional wedding cake in favor of crème brûlée was a delightful surprise. The rich, creamy dessert, with its perfectly caramelized top, was a hit with guests, offering a unique and indulgent twist to the celebration.
As the night continued, the dance floor came alive with joy and celebration. The laughter and love shared by M and A and their guests made it clear that this was not just a wedding but a cherished memory in the making.
A Day to Remember
M and A’s wedding was a beautiful blend of tradition, elegance, and personal touches, perfectly reflecting their love story. From the historic charm of The Virginian Hotel to the sacred beauty of the Virginia Episcopal Church, every detail was thoughtfully chosen to create a day that will be remembered by all who attended. It was an honor to capture these moments, and I wish M and A a lifetime of happiness together.
