Geneva, New York Wedding Venue
Geneva on the Lake Resort is an absolutely GORGEOUS wedding venue in Geneva, NY. Located in the Fingerlakes region of upstate New York, its a relaxing getaway, and a beautiful place to be. The Geneva on the Lake is a boutique resort with 29 rooms. However, its also a fantastic place to get married!
I’m a wedding photographer, and I know that a lot of people plan their weddings in this beautiful region from out of town. So to make your life easier, I’m creating a visual guide to help you plan your day.
Wedding Receptions at Geneva on the Lake
This Geneva wedding venue is set up beautifully for weddings of all shapes and sizes. First of all, it has plenty of open lawn and tent space for a large wedding. Yet, there are so many lovely nooks and rooms that would be just perfect for a very intimate wedding or elopement.
Personally, I think that the covered patio area would be perfect for an al fresco dinner celebration amongst a small guest list. However, in adverse weather, their in house restaurant Lancellotis is also available.
A Great Venue for a Destination or Weekend Wedding
Because Geneva on the Lake is a boutique hotel, it’s a great selection as a weekend destination. There are 29 guest rooms, along with some townhomes that can be rented on the property. This allows you to relax and spend time to savor your whole wedding weekend. Other guests can stay there with you as well.
Plenty of Activities
Besides getting married, there are plenty of things to do here. Of course there’s the glistening pool on the lakeside. Then there’s the volleyball net, or the bocce ball lawn, and croquet. Or, there’s even a nice little fire pit to warm up around, or a hammock to read and nap in. Certainly, there are plenty of options to relax and savor the weekend here.
