Assuming you’re not from Bermuda, I will be happy to show you around to some scenic spots I’ve been to. Couples who plan a destination wedding often opt to do an Epic Day After session with me in order to capture even more of the scenery with their wedding attire after the wedding day. I know my way around spots like Jobson’s Cove and the Botanic Gardens. Its always fun to get a shot of people zooming around on those cute little mopeds. And I can even take you to a good spot for a rum swizzle if you need a drink. 🙂

How does the process work if we’re planning a destination wedding?

I try to make everything as simple and stress-free as possible. First we’ll start by connecting and talking through your vision, wedding plans, and what is most important to you. From there I’ll help guide you through photography coverage options, timeline suggestions, and ideas that will help create the best experience and photographs possible.

Because destination weddings involve travel and logistics, I also stay in communication throughout the planning process so you never feel like you’re figuring things out alone. If you have a wedding planner (I have several great ones to recommend if you’re still looking!) I will communicate with them behind the scenes to make sure your experience is as seamless as possible. 

We feel awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?

Absolutely. Almost every couple is new to this, so its completely normal to feel this way. My approach is very natural and relaxed, and its my goal to vibe with you, have fun, and guide you in a way that feels comfortable while still allowing genuine moments and emotions to happen naturally.

My goal is for your images to feel like you at your best, rather than feeling overly posed or forced. My clients find my approach to be a breath of fresh air and comment on how amazed they are at how easy I make the experience for them. 

Do you only photograph the wedding day?

Not at all. Destination weddings are often much more than a single day. Many couples choose coverage for welcome parties, rehearsal dinners, engagement sessions, or day after newlywed sessions around Bermuda. 

These extra moments often become some of the most meaningful images because everyone is relaxed and simply enjoying the experience together.

Can you help us decide where to take photos in Bermuda?

Of course. Having spent time exploring Bermuda, I’d be happy to help suggest locations depending on the look you’re hoping for. Whether you want pink sand beaches, gardens, dramatic coastline views, architecture, hidden spots, or iconic island scenery, we can create something that feels personal and beautiful.

How much time should we set aside for photos on our wedding day?

Every wedding is different, but I always help couples build a timeline that allows for beautiful photographs without making the day feel like one long photo session.

I want you to have amazing images, but I also want you to enjoy your wedding day and spend time with the people you came to celebrate with. 

What photography style would you describe your work as?

Many would probably describe my work as elegant documentary filled with motion with editorial (story-telling) vibes.  I would describe my work as natural, timeless, emotional, and story-driven. I love creating a blend of authentic candid moments, elegant portraits, beautiful details, and scenic images that capture the atmosphere and experience of your wedding day.

My goal is for your photographs to still feel beautiful and meaningful decades from now.
