Congratulations to you! I’m guessing if you are on this page searching for candid Washington D.C. wedding photography, that you must be engaged! What a glorious time to be getting married to the love of your life!!!
As a wedding photographer who loves photographing in an artistic candid style, I also love capturing images in a more interesting light as well. For example, I love playing with light and shadows in natural light in order to capture images that evoke classical art- such as that in dutch still lifes or Rembrandt paintings. Candid wedding photography retains richness in details and beautiful realness. It feels very luxurious.
Furthermore, Washington D.C. has such an abundance of wedding venues with gorgeous light! I love both the indoor and outdoor venues here. The history and culture here blends in so beautifully with the wedding story as well.
As someone who specializes in documentary / candid moody Washington D.C. wedding photography, I love to capture the unguarded moments where you are blissfully enjoying life. For example, those ones where you don’t even know how gorgeous you are. As an artist and a documentarian, I will skillfully capture the real you from all of your best angles.
