This beautiful wedding took place in the Fall with a sumptuous palette of burgundy and baby blue. Absolutely FILLED with flowers, the ceremony and reception were show stoppers. Just make sure you get an eye on the customized “Will Call” style seating chart booth
It was the most beautiful Autumn day at the barn
Olivia and Tyler shared a beautiful first look. We then took their couples, family, and wedding party photos before the ceremony
Guests began to arrive, and were invited to sip champagne as they took in the beautiful scene
What an epic moment! And the light was just BEAUTIFUL!
Congrats to the Newlyweds!!! Was their chuppah in that sunset light not exquisite?!
This customized “Will Call” style seating booth ticket counter was not only fun and interactive for guests, but it incorporated the groom, Tyler’s favorite baseball team. Using a vintage Phillies logo (that just so happened to be in burgundy!), Elizabeth Flake Events flipped it over to make a “b” for their new shared last name. Guests even got to pick up a personalized box of Cracker Jax with the couple’s names on it. How cute!
Then it was time to enter the reception space. The inside of the Wakefield Barn had been transformed into a romantic vision. Complete with draping, trees, and so many flowers and candles.
Needless to say, Olivia and Tyler were blown away!
We really weren’t ready for this night to ever end, but alas, Olivia and Tyler were cheered off through a line of sparklers before riding away in their getaway car.
After delivering their sneak peeks as they honeymooned in Savannah, the newlyweds commissioned a local painter to create a piece inspired by one of their favorite ceremony photos. What a treat it is to see art inspire more art.
So many congratulations to Olivia and Tyler! We could not have enjoyed our day with you more!

Some weddings are elegant. Some are fun. And then there are weddings like Olivia and Tyler’s—where elegance meets personality in the most unforgettable way. Held at the Historic Wakefield Barn, one of Raleigh, North Carolina’s most charming wedding venues, this Jewish celebration was filled with vibrant blooms, rich color, heartfelt traditions, and one of the most creative seating assignments we’ve ever seen.
With full-service planning and design by the brilliant Elizabeth Flake Events and romantic florals by Once Gathered, every moment felt intentional, beautiful, and totally “them.” All of it was captured through the eye of luxury Raleigh wedding photographer Michelle Elyse, whose storytelling style brings every emotion—and every detail—into focus.
A Bold and Moody Palette of Burgundy and Baby Blue
From the moment guests arrived, the color story set the tone: bold burgundy paired with soft baby blue. Rich textures, flowing drapes, and a sea of fresh blooms gave the space both freshness and sophistication.
The ceremony took place beneath a custom burgundy chuppah layered in florals. A breathtaking blend of modern romance and tradition. And in the reception space, burgundy draping transformed the barn’s grand interior into a romantic candlelit space that felt completely enchanted.
The Most Creative Seating Assignment (Ever)
While the ceremony was unforgettable, the reception entrance is what really had guests talking. Inspired by the groom’s lifelong love of the Philadelphia Phillies, Elizabeth Flake designed a one-of-a-kind “Will Call” ticket booth for their seating assignments.
Guests approached the custom-built booth. Complete with a “teller” behind the counter—where they received a personalized ticket showing them to their seat. But that wasn’t all. Each ticket came with a local Durham Beer or a nostalgic box of Cracker Jacks personalized with the couple’s names. It was charming, interactive, and full of whimsy. Such a fun nod to the groom’s favorite team. And a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
A Joyful Raleigh Jewish Wedding Celebration
From the lively hora to emotional toasts, the evening was brimming with joy and tradition. Olivia and Tyler’s Jewish wedding ceremony honored their roots in such a meaningful way. And that same sense of heritage carried through into the reception.
Tables overflowed with flowers. Roses, dahlias, greenery, and soft blue touches tying everything together. Candlelight flickered across the tabletops. And every detail, from linens to lighting, felt cohesive and elevated thanks to the team at Elizabeth Flake Events.
