The Omni Homestead Resort Wedding Venue Guide

The Omni Homestead is such an incredible wedding venue to celebrate your marriage!

As a wedding photographer, I have photographed at many luxury destination wedding venues, and The Homestead remains one of my very favorites. Given this gorgeous resort’s scenic location among the mountains of Virginia, the Omni Homestead Resort is the perfect location for a destination wedding on the East Coast.

East Coast Luxury Destination Wedding Venue Located in Virginia

Located in Hot Springs, Virginia, the Homestead Resort is surrounded by the beautiful Allegheny mountains. The views from the building, and driving in are jaw dropping. Just seeing the Homestead unfold from the hills on your way in is enough to make a statement of sophistication.

A stately building, reminiscent of grand political buildings of Washington DC, the Omni Homestead Resort is a gorgeous landmark. It is also a destination of Luxury. A place where you can pamper yourself at the spa, relax in the posh lobby, or sun yourself by the pool. And, being located in the town of Hot Springs, Virginia, you can also take a short hotel shuttle to soak in the natural spring waters. The Homestead Resort is thoughtfully designed to feel cozy, but has plenty of space to spread out. It features X rooms, a scenic golf course, and plenty of nearby properties surrounding the resort to enjoy.

As far as weddings go, if you want a place with the vibe of pure class and old money- The Homestead Resort is for you! Some popular places for a wedding ceremony are under the pergola on the Casino Lawn, or on the golf course with the Homestead Resort as your epic backdrop in the distance.

The Homestead Resort Ceremony and Reception Areas

In terms of reception areas, there are plenty to choose from. The Grand Ballroom is personally one of my favorites. It is full of windows, and actually feels more like a conservatory than a ballroom in my opinion. The surrounding flowers and natural light really add to this feel. Equally beautiful are the Crystal Ballroom and the Empire Ballrooms. Those looking for a more rustic and mountain-centric reception will love the Shooting Range Pavilion. This spot is located at a nearby mountaintop location. The Homestead Resort shuttle can do picks ups and drop offs here for easy access though of course.
