Katelyn + Rick Chapel Hill Engagement Session with all the Animals
Engagement session in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with farm animals, dogs, and authentic moments.
After photographing this session with Katelyn and Rick it has literally taken everything in me to combat my impulses to go out and adopt ALL the animals. Between the rabbits, chickens, and their two adorable little corgis, I was having fur/feather family envy. Not to mention they named their hen Janet Jackson. Even more amazing is that the rabbits, corgis, and Janet Jackson all are comfortable hanging out together. Katelyn and Rick’s home feels like an animal utopia. 🙂
We started the session out in their adorable Chapel Hill home and then walked down the very short path over the creek to Merritt’s Pasture next door. We brought the corgis along too, and they stole my heart! Luckily, we were able to do our session right at the peak of the fall colors in Raleigh before the snow storm came. Between the colors and the great weather, and the good company, we had a great time out there in the meadow. Katelyn and Rick are naturals and photographing their life and love together was a sweet breeze.
Thanks so much you two for letting me step into your lives for an afternoon to capture these adorable memories for you. Can’t wait for the wedding!!!
