The Omni Homestead Resort Wedding Ceremony Venue Overview
As a wedding photographer, The Homestead Resort has a couple of the best wedding ceremony locations I have seen. If you’ve read my Intro Guide to this wedding venue, you would know that I am a HUGE fan of this gorgeous resort in Hot Springs, VA.

Golf Course Lawn
My personal favorite location is the golf course. Here, a shuttle takes you and your guests from the resort to the golf club lounge. And here, you walk down the aisle with the gorgeous Omni Homestead Resort as your luxurious backdrop. Between the classical architecture of the resort, the surrounding mountains, and the sloping hills of the golf course, it will look like you got married in a renaissance painting.
Having photographed here several times, I am also happy to say that The Homestead Resort staff makes sure no one is playing on the course and even picks up all the golf balls off the lawn before you hold your wedding ceremony. As a wedding photographer, I cannot tell you what a blessing this is to have such clean areas to photograph and to not have to photoshop every little ball out of the picture. The Homestead Resort Staff is truly exceptional in their service and creation of beauty.

The Casino Lawn
Another excellent location for a wedding ceremony at the Homestead Resort is the Casino Lawn. Here, you make a grand entrance walking down the stairs from the resort as you may your way down the aisle. The pergola here can be adorned with flowers to your liking. And your backdrop is nothing but beautiful rolling golf course and greenery.

The Shooting Range Pavilion
This one is the rugged nature lover’s site. The Shooting Range is yet another great location for a wedding ceremony at The Omni Homestead Resort. The lawn area here is a bit smaller, so it may be better for a moderately sized wedding than the others can hold. However, this is spot is on a mountaintop looking out into the surrounding mountains. It is also right next to the Shooting Club Pavilion, so you can walk and transition immediately into your party.
The Ballroom Options
If planning your wedding indoors, the Grand Ballroom and the Crystal Ballroom both are beautiful. They are also both full of tall windows which let in tons of natural light. If you are a person who wants to have a plan B in place, this is a good location.
